Mikael Egard is one of the co-founders of sensor technology startup Acconeer AB in Sweden and has worked together with his colleague Mats Ärlelid in the company since it was founded in 2011. 

The company was created from research at Lund University where Mikael received the PhD degree in physics in 2012.
